Ed at Top of the Pops

Ed performed ''The A Team'' when he appeared on the Christmas special of Top of the Pops, which was shown on Christmas Day. If you missed it then you're in luck because I have managed to track down a video of him performing.

WIN Ed's Christmas Art

When Ed was on Blue Peter he showed everyone how to make this awesome star decoration.

Now, he is giving his fans a chance to win this exact star (the one Ed made himself). All you need to do is answer this question ''Where did Ed tell people they could buy Christmas baubles from?''

When you know the answer send it, along with your Full Name and Address to competition@atlanticrecords.co.uk

Good Luck!

+ Voted One of the Best Albums of 2011

The Daily Record have chosen their top 20 albums of 2011 and they've put Ed's album '+' in at number 2! They had this to say about it...

"Do we need yet another woe-is-me singer/songwriter? Well, if he adds some R&B swagger, then absolutely. Ed’s The A Team dominated this year’s airwaves and his debut album is one that you can listen to from start to finish."

Well Done Ed! Adele's '21' came in top, other people featured on the list were Jessie J, Rihanna, The Horrors, Susan Boyle and Lady Gaga. To see the full top 20 list go to http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/showbiz/2011/12/23/the-20-best-albums-of-2011-86908-23654830/

Today, take40.com interviewed a few people to find out what they would be up to this christmas. Ed was one of these people interviewed and he said that he would be 'going to a tropical island to sing at a very high profile celebrities wedding.' He never said whose wedding though. Any guesses?

Ed Wants to Buy a Train

Ed said, recently, in an interview with Capital FM that it has always been his dream to become a train driver and he has been saving his money up to buy a train because "it looks like so much fun".

You can read the full story at http://www.capitalfm.com/artists/ed-sheeran/news/train/
I'll tell you one thing, I certainly wouldn't mind getting the train everyday if Ed was my driver!

Ed Promises Big Things For 2012

He tweeted "Just got the best news I've heard in a while, "Suffice to say, some huge things will be happening next year."

Hmmm... What could he mean?

Ed to Collaborate with Michael Buble

After meeting the Canadian crooner at Children in Need, Ed spoke to BBC News about a possible collaboration.

'He said "There might be something happening with Buble we had a nice chat that night."

Although he has plans to work with the commercially successful 'Cry me a River' star, Ed has previously promised he will never "sell out".

He said: "Even if I wasn't successful with the next album, as long as I do what I want and I'm happy with it, it will be fine. I think the worst thing is when people call other people sell outs. If I got a bad review in a paper and thought 'oh f**k he's right' - that would be selling out.

"I come from a scene where we like to be credible and do what we want."

20-year-old Ed – famed for completing tours by 'couch surfing', staying over at fans and friends houses – added he is planning to continue releasing new material over the next year in the UK, but warned he's going to be spending a lot of time out of his home country to launch his debut album '+' internationally.

He added: "2012 is the rest of the world, the album is coming out everywhere else so I'm going to be away for a bit."
